Award-winning campsite, gloriously sited just yards from the sea in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
Set in 16 acres of woodland and meadows just yards from the sea in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Trellyn Woodland Camping has been providing a glamping experience long before the term was invented and has won several awards and had many accolades.
But even with all this exposure we are never crowded. we self limit on the number of guests and in so doing create a really unique camping experience.
Every structure and pitch has its own space within the 16 acres and is sited to best preserve the environment.
For 2011/12 we have several brand new structures to the highest standard, and Wales tourist board approved alternative accommodation.
Our latest spacious 20? (6m) yurt was manufactured here on site. Hand crafted in Oak and Ash with a solid Oak floor, it is fitted out with custom made hardwood furniture. The dimmable LED lighting inside and out are all solar powered.
All your basic holiday needs are fully inclusive, there are no hidden extras. Firewood, cool block freezing, charging points, showers, wifi access, everything is included.
The only extras which you may need cash for are the onsite bushcraft courses, fresh lobster, crab in tank onsite and the odd extra from our home store.
In season there are some fresh home-grown veggies and also eggs, and other small items, available for your convenience.
As a base to explore Pembrokeshire, or as a destination to stay for the whole week and just chill, we are perfectly placed.
It is less than a 100 metres from the end of the site to get to the harbour cove of Abercastle, where there are rock pools at low tide and great walks from the site.
In addition, there are more than 10 beaches/coves within 10 miles of our site, from big beaches with life guards and services, to remote but accessible coves which it?s possible to have almost to yourselves even in high season.
If you have been to Pembrokeshire before you?ll know there are lots of other things to do all within easy reach, and without the crowds.
If you like Cornwall; you?ll love Pembrokeshire.
